| recensie | The Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale de Santa Cecilia is one of Italy’s foremost symphony orchestras, the first in Italy to devote itself exclusively to the symphonic repertoire. In addition to performances at home, often together with the Chorus, of symphonic-choral works from the 18th century to the present time, the Orchestra regularly performs at the major Italian music festivals. Outside Italy, the Orchestra has appeared at the White Nights Festival of St. Petersburg and the London Proms and has made numerous tours in Europe and the Far East. |
